In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Holston Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions.
The Cavaliers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Council (Council, VA). The Cobras come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Council was beaten by Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Cornerstone Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA).
