Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northland Pines upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Eagles host Merrill (Merrill, WI) to meet the Bluejays in a Great Northern challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Merrill won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wausau East (Wausau, WI)

Next, the Cardinals meet the Ripon Tigers (Ripon, WI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Crandon will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI).
