The Crescent City Christian Pioneers volleyball team (Metairie, LA), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA)

The Green Wave (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Haynes Academy beat Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Crescent City Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Owls go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).
