Georgia High School Volleyball - Savannah Arts Academy over Crisp County

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), observed Savannah Arts Academy's volleyball team top Crisp County by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears enter the 2A Area 3 battle with a 9-14 record. In their last battle, Pierce County achieved victory over Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Crisp County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-10.
