Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), observed Currituck County's volleyball team top Preston by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Deep Creek achieved victory over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tucker County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Preston will encounter a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-1.
