In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Dover Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles.
The Pirates (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Golden Arrows go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Lavaca gained a win over Providence Academy (Rogers, AR), 3-1, in a league test.
The Eagles now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacksonville Lighthouse for a 2A 5 test on Tuesday, September 16. Cutter-Morning Star will face a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.
