In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marshalltown Bobcats.

The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles come into the Little Hawkeye challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Pella Christian was beaten by Washington (Washington, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Marshalltown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA).
