The Davis County Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a South Central game on Tuesday, September 16. Davis County will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 2-10.

The Roadrunners (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league game with a 15-0 record. In their last game, Southeast Warren gained a win over Albia (Albia, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
