Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) and the host Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), observed Riverside's volleyball team top Denison-Schleswig by a tally of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (14-0) will now prepare for their contest against Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Logan-Magnolia beat Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Monarchs meet the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Denison-Schleswig will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA).
