The Cyclones (19-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Hudson edged West Marshall (State Center, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Norsemen meet the Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Roland-Story will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA).
