With the win, Gila Ridge improves its record to 12-5 on the season. The Hawks travel to River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ) to face the Dust Devils in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Dust Devils go into the test with a record of 1-4. River Valley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ)

The Scorpions now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Canyon for a 5A - Desert West test on Tuesday, September 16. Desert Edge will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 2-2.
