The Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) volleyball held off the visiting East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Clay-Chalkville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Hillcrest will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-11.
The Indians (15-9) will now prepare for their match against Loretto (Loretto, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, Loretto held off Hampshire (Hampshire, TN), 3-0, in a league match.
