The Pioneers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Boyd County was knocked off by Russell (Russell, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Eastern will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY).
