The Edwardsburg Eddies volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting St. Francis Gladiators to 0 in the Eddies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eddies now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattawan for a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. Edwardsburg will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.
The Gladiators (12-11) will now prepare for their game against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Portage Central gained a win over Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
