The Ellinwood Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Republic County Buffaloes to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Nickerson for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Ellinwood will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hays (Hays, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Republic County drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Central Plains (Claflin, KS) to play the Oilers in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Oilers go into the game with a record of 4-0. Central Plains won 2-1 in their recent league game against Macksville (Macksville, KS)
