The Flushing Raiders knocked off the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Mercy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Flushing will clash with a Marlins team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Marlins record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Walled Lake Western drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to confront the Lions in a Lakes Valley match on Thursday, September 18. The Lions enter the match with a record of 17-5. South Lyon won 3-0 in their recent league match against Milford (Highland, MI)
