Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Notre Dame Regents (San Jose, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans come into the non-league outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Castro Valley was topped by Foothill (Pleasanton, CA), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Notre Dame drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Regents travel to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Knights enter the game with a record of 7-3. Ripon Christian lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Hughson (Hughson, CA)
