Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) and the host McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY), observed Franklin-Simpson's volleyball team overcome McCreary Central by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats (3-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Butler County was beaten by Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Raiders meet the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. McCreary Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY).
