The St. Petersburg Catholic Barons volleyball squad (St. Petersburg, FL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL)

With the win, Gaither improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cowboys host Lennard (Ruskin, FL) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16.
