Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) and the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), saw South County's volleyball squad notch a victory over Gar-Field by a score of 2-0.

With the win, South County improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Stallions host Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to encounter the Lions in a Patriot battle on Monday, September 15. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Fairfax won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Robinson (Fairfax, VA)

The Red Wolves now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac Senior for a Cardinal contest on Tuesday, September 16. Gar-Field will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
