Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), observed Tuscarora's volleyball team top Gar-Field by a count of 2-0.

The Huskies (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Kettle Run was beaten by Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Wolves meet the Potomac Senior Panthers (Dumfries, VA) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Gar-Field will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA).
