The Gila Ridge Hawks held off the host River Valley Dust Devils volleyball team by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Needles for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Gila Ridge will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, River Valley falls to 1-7 on the year. The Dust devils travel to Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV) to confront the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 6-7. Pinecrest Academy Cadence lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV)
