The South Salem Saxons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Glencoe Crimson Tide to 0 in the Saxons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Saxons now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Salem for a 6A Central Valley outing on Tuesday, September 16. South Salem will play a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league win over McNary (Keizer, OR). The Titans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Glencoe drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Crimson tide travel to Newberg (Newberg, OR) to play the Tigers in a 6A Pacific outing on Monday, September 15. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Newberg won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Dallas (Dallas, OR)
