The Granada Matadors prevailed the host Moreau Catholic Mariners volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Matadors now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Livermore for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Granada will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Moreau Catholic drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Albany (Albany, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Albany won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA)
