In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Gunn Titans volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the The Nueva School Mavericks.
Next up, the Titans face the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino game, on Tuesday, September 16. Gunn will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA).
The Mavericks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears come into the Private School - Bay outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Summit Shasta defeated University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
