Nerinx Hall Markers (Webster Groves, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Hermann Bearcats (Hermann, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Markers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules come into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Fairfield beat Newton (Newton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Hermann will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS).
