Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against White River (White River, SD). The Tigers come into the B Region 7 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, White River beat Colome (Colome, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates face the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Highmore/Harrold will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Scotties go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
