Tennessee High School Volleyball - Houston County tips Scotts Hill

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Houston County Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Scotts Hill Lions.

The Fighting Irish (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairview (Fairview, TN). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record.

Next, the Lions meet the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) in a AA District 12 challenge, on Monday, September 15. Scotts Hill will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, TN).
