Illinois High School Volleyball - Illini Central Prairie Central

Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Heyworth beat Fisher (Fisher, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Illini Central will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 8-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL).
