The Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tallulah Falls for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Jasper will battle a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Indians record now stands at 18-5.

The Cardinals (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Woodmont notched a victory over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC), 3-0, in a league match.
