St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Saints (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, West Fork was beaten by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Ankeny Hawks (Ankeny, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Johnston will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Liberty (North Liberty, IA).
