In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats.

The Wildcats (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Bethlehem beat Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats play the Elizabethtown Panthers (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Kentucky Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Meade County (Brandenburg, KY).
