Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the host Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA), observed Kettle Run's volleyball team top Tuscarora by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers enter the Northwestern battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Brentsville District dropped by Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Huskies now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dominion for a Dulles battle on Tuesday, September 16. Tuscarora will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Titans record now stands at 5-3.
