The Lake Gibson Braves volleyball squad (Lakeland, FL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls (LaBelle, FL)

The Cowboys/Cowgirls (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, DeSoto County was tipped by Palmetto (Palmetto, FL), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Braves battle the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Lake Gibson will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL).
