Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders (Lake Park, MN) and the visiting Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN), observed Lake Park-Audubon's volleyball team hold off Park Rapids by a count of 2-1.
The Raiders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blackduck (Blackduck, MN). The Drakes enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Blackduck was tipped by Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Park Rapids will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
