The Lamesa Tornadoes volleyball squad (Lamesa, TX), was defeated 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX)

With the win, Ropes improves its record to 20-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Kermit (Kermit, TX) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a record of 6-14. Kermit lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX)

The Tornadoes now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Idalou for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Lamesa will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-11.
