Illinois High School Volleyball - Newark tips Lena-Winslow

The Newark Norsemen volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Lena-Winslow Panthers to 1 in the Norsemen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Norsemen now possess a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaMoille/Ohio for a Little Ten game on Wednesday, September 17. Newark will confront a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Serena (Serena, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves enter the Northwest Upstate Illini game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Pearl City was tipped by Dakota (Dakota, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
