Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Oskaloosa Indians (Oskaloosa, IA) and the visiting Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), observed Oskaloosa's volleyball team top Lincoln by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch enter the Little Hawkeye contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Pella notched a victory over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lynx encounter the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Missouri River battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a 4-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA).
