With the win, Valley improves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 7-3. Pleasant Valley lost 3-2 in their recent league test against North Scott (Eldridge, IA)

The Lions now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Dubuque for a Mississippi Valley-Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Linn-Mar will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-3.
