In Saturday's non-league match, the Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Golden Eagles battle the Baker Braves (Baker, CA) in a Hi-Lo battle, on Wednesday, September 17. Lone Pine will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Braves go into the battle with a 8-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mojave (Mojave, CA).
The Griffins now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Monica Academy for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-7.
