Michigan High School Volleyball - Utica Ford over Lutheran North

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI) and the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), observed Utica Ford's volleyball team top Lutheran North by a count of 2-0.

The Falcons (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Rochester notched a victory over Plymouth (Canton, MI), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. Lutheran North will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
