With the win, Oakwood improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hawks host Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA) to face the Spartans in a Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia test on Monday, September 15. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 1-2. Ceiba College Preparatory Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)

The Mariners now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pajaro Valley for a Pacific Coast - Cypress challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Marina will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-4.
