Illinois High School Volleyball - Marissa/Coulterville over Patoka

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors (Marissa, IL) and the visiting Patoka Warriors (Patoka, IL), observed Marissa/Coulterville's volleyball team top Patoka by a count of 2-0.

The Meteors (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Sparta was knocked off by Okawville (Okawville, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors battle the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 15. Patoka will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Crab Orchard (Marion, IL).
