Illinois High School Volleyball - Wesclin over Marquette Catholic

The Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) volleyball knocked off the host Marquette Catholic Explorers (Alton, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jersey for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Wesclin will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Marquette Catholic drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Explorers travel to Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Greenfield/Northwestern lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Calhoun (Hardin, IL)
