In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pioneer Pioneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mason Bulldogs.

The Pioneers (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe (Monroe, MI). The Trojans come into the South Eastern - Red challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Monroe beat Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Mason will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Johns (St. Johns, MI).
