With the win, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to meet the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Belleville West lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Dei (Breese, IL)

Next, the Greenwave meet the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Mattoon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Danville (Danville, IL).
