California High School Volleyball - St. Ignatius College Preparatory tips Menlo-Atherton

September 13, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94116

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), observed St. Ignatius College Preparatory's volleyball team hold off Menlo-Atherton by a count of 2-1.

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors enter the West Catholic contest with a 5-1 record.

Next, the Bears encounter the Hillsdale Fighting Knights (San Mateo, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Fighting Knights go into the battle with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).
