In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Millard West Wildcats volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Scottsbluff Bearcats.

With the win, Millard West improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to face the Monarchs in a A District test on Tuesday, September 16. The Monarchs go into the test with a record of 2-4. Papillion-LaVista lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Marian (Omaha, NE)

The Bearcats now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gering for a B District 8 test on Tuesday, September 16. Scottsbluff will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.
