In Saturday's non-league bout, the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Mount Mercy Academy Magic (Buffalo, NY), by a margin of 2-0.

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Williamsville East for a Section 6 Erie County II match on Monday, September 15.

The Magic (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
