In Saturday's non-league test, the host New West Charter Eagles volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Waverly Ravens.

With the win, New West Charter advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Panthers in a Crosstown test on Monday, September 15. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Horace Mann UCLA Community lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA)

Next, the Ravens play the Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA).
